Bronze Award – Dinghy Training
The focus of this course is to equip students with the basic knowledge required to get them sailing. The course is broken down into 4 practical sessions and 1 theory session. Each of the practical sessions includes learning on our simulator, followed by the sailors setting sail to practice what they just learnt on the water.
Our instructors, who are also on the water, lead the sailors through a step-by-step process which quickly enables the delegates to maneuver and handle a boat with confidence. At the end of this course you will be able to sail in all directions in a supervision in a controlled environment .
Upon completion of this course you will receive a certificate in the form of a credit card photo ID that will state your sailing level. As you move up through the levels you will get new cards to match your ability.
