Silver Award – Dinghy Training
The focus of this course is to further develop the students with their practical and theoretical side of sailing. The course is broken down into 4 practical sessions and 1 theory session. Each of the practical sessions includes the student independently sailing to develop the maneuvers and confidence in the boat which is required.
Our instructors, will assist equipping the sailor with the skills required to sail a boat independently. At the end of the course the student will be safety conscious and have basic knowledge to enable them to sail independently in light winds.
Upon completion of this course you will receive a certificate in the form of a credit card photo ID that will state your sailing level. As you move up through the levels you will get new cards to match your ability.
