Sailbase in Qinhuangdao
We are located on the coast midway between Beidaihe and Qinhuangdao at the Aquatic Centre of the 1990 Asian Games.
On the water hours: Everyday 08:30 - 19:30 (or 1 hour before sunset)

Travelling to The Sailbase : From Beijing to Qinhuangdao

By Train - We recommend that you take the express D Train to Beidaihe Train Station which will take approximately 1 hour 40 mins. The journey from Beidaihe Train Station to the sailbase will take another 20 minutes.

D Train tickets should be booked 10 days before departure. Once you have the outbound ticket, then call us and we will arrange your return tickets.

On arrival at Beidaihe our staff can meet you with a sign board and transfer you to the center (see prices) or you may take a taxi (~Y50) by asking the driver to go to the China Football School, Qinhuangdao. Click here to download instructions for your taxi driver.

By Car - Driving from Beijing normally takes 3 hours and a little less from Tianjin.

1. Take the JingHa (formerly known as JingShen) Expressway (京哈高速原京沈高速)
2. From the JingHa Expressway , take the Beidaihe Exit (北戴河)
3. At first roundabout, take 2nd exit onto Lianfengbei Road and follow signs for Qinhuangdao Downtown.
4. After 4km, turn left at junction onto Binhai Seaside Road, following signs for for Qinhuangdao Downtown.
5. After 8km, fork right towards Xin'Ao Underwater World and China Football School.
6. After 3km, pass the Underwater World, then Beijing Sailing Centre is on the right immediately after the windsurfer statue.

When you see the windsurfing statue you are by our main gate. Call us when you get close, so that we can meet you at the main gate and sign you in. Click here for a detailed map and directions.
